Fiesta de la Paloma
Saturday Selvin and I went to a festival in Coleman, Texas where my parents live. It is called the Fiesta de la Paloma, not because they hold doves with reverence, but because there is so much dove hunting. I guess it reflects the Texan fascination for hunting.
This is a great place to learnn about central Texan culture and social interaction.
